Yeah I know... It's almost Christmas!

I have not posted very much and very frequently enough and I get shit from people all the time about it...  I'm not exactly the easiest guy to get ahold of I know, you may be thinking... Why won't he phone me or how come I don't see him around much...

Truth is, Ehem... and your gonna laugh your ass off at this one...

"I'm an extremely private person!!!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA  Your kidding right?  The guy who has a blog and shares all this crappola about himself on the internet... and he's telling me he's a private person?

Sigh!...

Yeah, well the internet blog has been a great way for me to reach out....  Inspired by another person's blog she has since stopped blogging publicly because she ended up splitting from her hubby and he ended up bringing her blogging shit to the lawyer to use against her...  That's a bit like ripping open someone's diary and reading it word for word while they piss in your eyes!

That was a long time ago now... Another blog that inspired me to write was of a good friend of mine who had a long battle with cancer...   Everything about her journey was documented right up until and including video of her funeral...  Wow...

Sometimes a guy just sits back and realizes that he's weathered a lot in the past few years... I have lost several people to cancer, old age and other unfortunate events.  Family and friends have withered away one by one and as far as siblings and parents go it's just my mother, my brother and I that are left...  I have long since abandoned ties with biological cousin's etc in Calgary and have an Uncle who stained my mother's maiden name to an unrecoverable state.  The past two years has been a financial hell and needs to improve soon...  The new year must simply be better.... Will be better...

Dispite all the disparity I am truly blessed...

I have a wife and kids who love me, and a house to call a home...  My work situation has come from uncertain paycheques in a family business to guaranteed weekly relief and I have been promoted in my new job three times to where I am now being considered for a prominent position managing an entire department of my own...  My mother, who also lives with my wife, kids and I came through 18 years of a genetic illness to find herself recieving the gift of life last February 14th and has even recently overcome the dreaded H1N1 virus and a bout of major rejection...

It's been a long tough journey up to this point but I feel that things are improving...

And while I don't find the time nor energy to blog about it, I never stop thinking about it...
